Two new arrivals: Boo and Pinky

A huge thank you to Maz at Zam Rats for the two newest additions to the mischief: Boo (black hooded) and Pinky (BEW).

Warfarin went from "Yay new playmates" to "You've got to be kidding me" pretty damn quickly.

The little ones didn't care for the car trip, especially Pinky, but upon arrival both perked up and they have been playing, eating, sleeping, and escaping their cage. So I imagine they are fine. It seems I forgot how psycho they are at this age.

The plastic box is their temporary "cage" until they get introduced tomorrow, in the shower, in the presence of plenty of yoghurt. They've sniffed each other a bit and tried to get into each others cages during free ranging time. So far, as expected, there has been 0 aggression from Warf.

Warfarin exploring our new apartment

I had just been shopping, and after unpacking I let him free range for a while. Warf went straight for my bag, thoroughly searched it then sat in it for a while.

Juice box challenge: I gave him a little bit of juice (35% juice, 65% water) out of the juice box and then left it in there as a puzzle for him to solve... Will post results as they occur...

Exploring my bed...

And there we go, suitable holiday-nest location: my brown&black pillow. After watching him for a while, it became clear he was nesting and not playing so I got him out and inspected the damage: two small holes on one side. Not too bad, glad I caught it early. He always tries to get back into that pillow, presumably to finish his nest.

For some reason, Warfarin is quite a fan of my shoe, shirt & tie rack. He often goes over here and sits on top of my shoes...
